Hydrotherapy using the Steamy Wonder™
The Steamy Wonder™ uses a patented heat-circulation design that provides a soothing flow of steam and an even distribution of heat within a steam tent. Minutes after turning on the steam generator clients experience the warmth and benefits of a steam room without breathing in hot air. Lying flat while steaming allows the heart to work most efficiently—keeping the blood flow even throughout the body. Contrast this to sitting in a sauna or steam box where gravity sends the blood down to the feet, making the heart work harder to pump it back up. The ‘dizziness’ that some people report from saunas and steam boxes may be attributed to the lack of blood/oxygen in the brain combined with breathing hot, moist air.
